We are Makers of Authentic Handcrafted Canadian-Made Tipis, Tents and Goods.

Sewn Home was founded in 2016 by David Lundberg in Timmins, Ontario.  Decades of experience with a wide range of canvas shelters was and always is the backbone of the company.

Originally a part-time, home-based sewing machine repair service, Sewn Home gradually began finding and restoring old industrial sewing machines which allowed the business to expand into manufacturing. Very quickly, tents and tipis became our specialty. We now operate a full-scale facility with a growing staff and line of products.

Sewn Home practices and promotes environmental responsibility: We reduce our scrap material to near zero using CAD software and spreadsheets to pattern all our products efficiently, and we design all our products to last as long as possible. We believe it is important to combat waste on all fronts.
